Late Stage Corporate Greed

If you're laying people off while your CEO is still making a 7+ figure salary, you're doing it wrong.

If you're laying people off while your business is posting record profits, you're doing it wrong.

If you're laying people off while other folks are getting promotions and salary bumps, you're doing it wrong.

If you're ordered to lay off members of your team or another team, and you comply (ahem... HR), you're doing it wrong.

If you view your employees as a cost center that should be reduced in order to post gains to shareholder value, you're doing it wrong.

If your business is backed by a private equity firm, you're (probably) doing it wrong.

This is not the Great Depression. This is great corporate greed.

We are witnessing the expensive and writhing death of capitalism in real-time, and as is always the case, the workers are footing the bill.

Unionize or die.
